Lydia on tradition and history: "The story of history is the story of life, after all the word story makes up part of the word history! There is simple beauty in respecting the past and learning how to incorporate into our present. I enjoy telling the story through my lifestyle choices. Whether it's shopping for vintage clothes, antique furniture, or learning about herbal remedies; everything I do is through a historic lens."
What's up with purple? Lydia says purple represents her namesake, Lydia from the Bibles' book of Acts. Lydia was the first European woman converted to Christianity. She was also a seller of purple cloth, the haute couture of the ancient world.
