When you are a redhead with super fair skin AND a Florida native you have to take beach preparation very seriously. I'm partly joking, but partly not..haha. Over the years I've developed what I think is a pretty strong beach bag game. I always have favorite sunscreens and must haves in my bag. After I became a mom I started using a giant LLB bag, that I keep stocked pretty much year round (because, Florida). I always carry two mini bags within my big bag. One for all my sunscreen and the other for cosmetics and "girly" stuff. My boys are not allowed near the beach bag- but they are allowed near the snack bag (which they care way more about)!
Today's post is about what I keep in my cosmetics mini bag. So, here's the list.
-It gets hot at the beach and a rose water spray is both cooling and moisturizing. This one is all the things- cruelty free, vegan, gluten free, and certified fair trade.
- This is a lip gloss that I love. It feels so moisturizing and it does well over lipstick (not really important at the beach but good to know). It's also vegan and made with no harsh chemicals like parabens.
- A hand cream that leaves you hands soft and it smells like a literal rose garden. It's made from organic roses. Great for dry hands after a day of salt, sand, and dehydrating mommy juice (wine)!
- Don't forget your lips need sunscreen too! Protect your pout or smile.... depending on your mood!
- This cream is designed for for sensitive skin and it is intensely moisturizing. It's a great pick for the beach; which can be drying especially when you have sensitive skin.
If you try out any of these products drop a comment below and let me know! I hope you have a wonderful summer and get to enjoy some time at the beach!
