Hypothyroid Books

I’ve had Hypothyroidism since I was 15 years old.  The cause of my disease is Hashimoto’s disease.  Over the years I have found relief through a combination of Synthroid and Diet.  I’ve read a lot of books on hypothyroidism and done a lot of research.  Today, I want to share some popular hypothyroid books.  These books are all a great resource for people with hypothyroidism.  I believe that the more you know about your condition the more in control and less stressed you will feel.  I’ve always found comfort in learning about my disease, and what I can do on my own to help manage it.

Hypothyroid Books - 6 books to have on your shelf

This is a great book if your labs are normal, but you are still experiencing symptoms.  I discovered the author, Amy Myers, about 10 years ago via her podcast/Youtube channel.

Medical Medium Thyroid Healing

I haven’t read this book, full disclaimer.  I wanted to include it though, it has thousands of positive reviews on both Amazon and Goodreads.  It promises to reveal the truth behind the “real causes” of thyroid disease and offer solutions for healing.  I’m adding it to my reading list.
